FEEL - BEAT CRUSADERS

Something unusual that happened that day
Thursday, January 29, 2009

Unusual things always happen to us at the time where we least expected it. That is why it makes us happy, surprised, or maybe scared. I too, have faced these out of the blue circumstances. Here's an account of what happened that fateful day.

The sun was scorching my body. I was at the beach, together with my family members, at Redang. We had gathered our snorkling equipment and were ready to dive into the clear blue sea. However, my worrisome mother kept pestering me to apply my cream or whatever you call it. I hate creams, especially those that make your skin feel damp; gives me the chills.

We slowly emersed ourselves into the sea, from toes, to waist, to the entire being. I scanned the area an a amazing sight appeared before me. Schools of fishes, colourful corals, and what the...a baby shark!

I started to panic and accidentally breathed in some salt water. This was when my father swam to my side and cooled me down. We surfaced and he told me that it was not dangerous, and that we SHOULD take pictures of it. Hesitating, I heaved a sigh of relief and went back to snorkeling.]

This was when I saw hundreds and thousands of fishes rushing towards me and enveloping me like mad. Woah...They must really like me.

OUCH!!! Something bit me!!! Turning behind, I saw that my ankle was bleeding in some parts. And yes, due to the salt, I felt that horrible burning sensation that drove me out of my wits. Damned fishes. They bit me, I think.

I almost swore never to swim again until I recalled that beautiful scene.

There goes it. You see, just like how the fishes bit me during the "enveloping parade", things in life can happen unexpectedly. You never know what will be coming, so what do I do?

Take it easy.
